This Privacy Policy explains how Nana's Home Edit LLC, a Texas limited liability company ("we", "us", "our"), handles personal information when you visit nanashomeedit.com, buy Nana Creator Studio, use the app or contact us. The short version: the app keeps your content on your own computer, we collect only what we need to sell and support it, and we never sell your information.
1. Information we collect
When you visit our website: our website host may automatically collect standard technical information such as your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you view and the site that referred you. We use this to run and secure the site and to understand visits in aggregate.
When you buy: purchases are handled by Paddle.com, our reseller and Merchant of Record. Paddle collects your name, email address, billing country and address, and payment details. We receive your name, email address, country and order details from Paddle so we can deliver your license and support you. We never receive or store your full card number.
When you contact us: we keep the emails you send us and our replies, including your name and email address and anything you choose to tell us.
2. The Nana Creator Studio app
Nana Creator Studio is local-first. Your products, media, projects, scripts, brand-deal records and money records are stored on your own computer. We do not receive, host or have access to them, and the app contains no advertising or tracking.
The app connects to the internet only to: (a) activate and check your license, which sends your license key and a random identifier for your computer; (b) check for and download updates, which are hosted on GitHub, so GitHub sees your IP address; and (c) use optional AI features, if you turn them on.
AI features use your own OpenAI API key. When you use one, the content you choose — such as your text prompts, a voiceover recording to transcribe, or a product image to read — is sent directly from your computer to OpenAI, not to us, and is handled under OpenAI's terms and privacy policy. Your API key is stored encrypted on your computer and is never sent to us.
3. How we use information
We use personal information to deliver and activate your purchase, provide updates and support, process refunds, prevent fraud and license misuse, keep our website working and secure, and meet our legal, tax and accounting obligations. If you agree to it, we may also send you occasional product news; you can unsubscribe at any time.
4. Who we share it with
We do not sell or rent your personal information. We share it only with service providers that help us run the business — Paddle (orders, payments, tax and licensing), our website host, our email provider and GitHub (app updates) — and only as needed for them to provide their services. We may also disclose information if the law requires it or to protect our rights.
5. How long we keep it
We keep purchase and license records for as long as your license is active and as long as needed to meet legal, tax and accounting requirements. We keep support emails for as long as they are useful to help you, and then delete them.
6. Your choices and rights
You can ask us to access, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, or to stop sending you marketing emails. Depending on where you live — for example in the EU, the UK or California — you may have additional rights under local law. To make a request, email support@nanashomeedit.com. We will respond within 30 days. For payment information held by Paddle, you can also contact Paddle directly.
7. Security
We use reasonable measures to protect the information we hold. Because the app stores your content on your own computer, keeping that computer and its backups secure is also up to you.
8. Children
Our website and app are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16.
9. International visitors
We are based in the United States. If you visit or buy from outside the US, your information may be processed in the US and in other countries where our service providers operate.
